Parked Domains
What precisely parked domain names? When could they come in real useful? How can you park a domain?
There are two services you need for a functioning website - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain address in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the website hosting account, but if that Internet domain isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. In other words, the domain name is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it may be directed to some other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and ensure that no one else is going to take it. At the same time, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted domain name within your account. You may also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting
When you purchase a
website hosting plan through us, you'll be able to register as many domains as you would like and park any of them with just a few clicks via your Hepsia hosting CP. Using our feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, you can pick from several templates and add your own text to each of them. If you want to forward a domain address, all it takes is to type the URL, save it, and you will be all set. You can un-park a domain and host it inside your account just as easily and our system is going to do all the required changes - update the domain servers, set up DNS records for it, create a domain folder inside the File Manager section of your account, etc. In case you have a large number of domains registered using our company, you can use a filter to check out just the parked or just the hosted ones for simpler administration. Considering that you could park a domain only with its registrar, you can use this function only for domains which are registered through us, but not through another provider.
