Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet is the latest edition for Ubuntu Linux Distribution and now its still in beta (when i wrote this article), Stable version will be released on 23 April 2015. So this is a good time to take a look the new features that are going to be implemented with this new release Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet.
Ubuntu 15.04 not have many visual changes, because there is some important updates and changes with the system, including the adoption of systemd. The team also transitioning to a new Unity version that is still not ready for general use, so that is why if we see Ubuntu 15.04 is not have too many changes from Ubuntu 14.10.

Systemd replaces Upstart
Its not a secret that Ubuntu is based on Debian, so it just a matter of time until Upstart replaces by Systemd, the developers is now working to make the switch.
Using new version of Linux Kernel
One of the core components for Ubuntu, Linux Kernel, has been upgraded to version 3.19.3.
Most of Changes are under the hood
Most of the changes in Ubuntu 15.04 have been done under the hood, that means most of the stuff like updates and upgrades is invisible to the naked eye or on other words the changes is on the core system.
New wallpaper for Vivid Vervet
Vivid Vervet give you a new wallpaper, the wallpaper has changed over the years, but in this version is first time the color has change completely.
Some minor Upgrades for Compiz and Unity
Ubuntu devs are working on for Unity 8, which uses a different window manager. Until version 8 is ready, Unity 7 will be improved along with compiz. The team has improved the startup and shutdown animation that are makes shutdown and startup faster, Compiz also has an upgrades but the upgrades is only affected for NVIDIA users.
All major Applications have been updated
Ubuntu comes with a major apps that integrated by default, like FireFox, Libre Office. This major apps has been upgraded to the latest version, so you don’t need to update it manually.
Locally Integrated Menus are now default
Locally Integrated Menus are integrated directly in the title bar, this means now users have faster access to the menus, and they don’t need to change the window size. But if you want to use the old option its still present.
These all major modifications for Ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet, there are a lot of changes in Ubuntu 15.04 from the big ones to the small ones. Now let we just wait for the stable release.
