German hardware company Cirrus7 has been released a new Ubuntu PC Cirrus7 Nimbini, the younger brother from the Cirrus7 Nimbus that won a prestigious Red Dot design award last year.

This new Cirrus7 Nimbini dimension is 150x150x87 mm. Nimbini is completly fanless for silent running and its assempled from a laser-cut aluminum layers that form a passive cooling system.

The Cirrus7 Nimbini also available as a complete assembled system or in a “kit” form that is cheaper from the complete system with over than 90 parts. This will allow DIY enthusiast to assemble the device themselves also they can tweak the design to suit thier needs.

The Nimbini is compatible with all Broadwell NUCs and will offer buyers a choice for the processor from i3 to i7, also including the highly anticipated 28W Iris Graphics. Nimbini will ship with an M.2 SSD as a standard and there will be an addition space for 2.5 inch driveIts also comes with up to 16 GB of RAM.

Nimbini also include with 2 x USB 3.0 connectors (front), 2 x USB 3.0 (back), audio jack (front), 2 x mini Displayport (back), and last an ethernet port (back).

The best part about Cirrus7 Nimbini is because there will be an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or Ubuntu 15.04 pre-installed on the system. How much it will cost ?,  We still don’t know it right now and don’t expect it to be cheap.
