There are only a few Twitter Desktop Client application that support Linux, as an example like on the previous post Corebird Twitter Client : a native desktop twitter client for linux. This time I have found another Twitter Client named Birdie.
Birdie has sever features that one could expect in a decent twitter apps. It has a clean Interface built using GTK. You can compose, reply, message, view conversation, retweet and add photos with Birdie, also you can retweet with the old style.
There is also features for hashtags auto completion, moreover you can use multiple account in a single application.
Install Birdie – Twitter Desktop Client for Linux
Fortunately Birdie officially provides a PPA for Ubuntu and you can use this to install it in other distribution that based on Ubuntu such as Mint and Elementary. Use this following command to install:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:birdie-team/stable $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install birdie
If you want to install it on different version and distribution you can visit the official website here.
